This publication of "Chajenu" was the new series of the "Chajenu" published in Germany from 1935-1939. It was the newsletter of the Brit Halutzim Dati'im (known by its acronym Bachad), which trained young Orthodox Jews in Eastern Europe in religious Zionist pioneering. After Kristallnacht, thousands of Bachad activists relocated to Great Britain, where they established training farms. "Chajenu" was also the newsletter of the Torah va'Avodah movement, which promoted religious pioneering. (Sources: Medoff, Rafael, et al. Historical Dictionary of Zionism.
